This document presents the official recommendations of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) on the prevention and treatment of hepatitis B virus
reactivation (HBVr) during immunosuppressive therapy. The guideline was developed by the Clinical Practice and Quality Measures Committee (currently the Clinical Practice Guideline Committee) and approved by the AGA Governing Board.
